The one with Paintgate!
So much hullabaloo about the teacher who painted and hung pictures of Brian Cowen in the 2 galleries in Dublin. One of the tea-shock on the bog and the other of him nekkid holding a nice oul pair of y-fronts. FFS!
Personally, I don't see what the shitstorm is all about. It may be offensive to some and possibly a little bit in bad taste when his wife and kids are concerned. But I'm sure his wife has seen him naked!
Now, like alot of us, myself included the tea-shock isn't exactly sculpted like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Barbarian! No big deal. People are people at the end of the day and you are what and who you are. As opposed to jumping on RTE news, from a PR point of view, I think a few of the heads should have sat down and talked this through. But instead the Gardai went thundering off to Today FM, alright, one guard, make that a detective. And an apology was aired from RTE after a complaint from the press secretary.
Instead of the whole thing turning into a circus, where Lions reguarly ate the trainers, it could have been a whole lot different. If Brian Cowen had went on the news and said "I'm not sure about it to be honest. I think the belly is a bit too big, I'm not eating that many sausages and rashers." or "Well its a good likeness, but my moobs are too big". That would have been the end of it! People would have got a laugh and it would have done wonders for Brian Cowens PR. People actually would have started to laugh with him instead of laughing at him!
