A whole 7 days have passed by since I last updated the blog. I do apologise, but walls and up them spring to mind. Lots of you have been looking at the all singing all drumming RedFM crew on the videos down below and keep yer eyes peeled for more videos coming here soon!

Not a great deal to report since last Tuesday except the following. After a really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really long day on Thursday myself and the Mac headed into the Brog, as usual for a wind down. Follwing that and between yakking and god knows what else I got home for close to 4. As I was driving home, dawn was breaking through ever so slightly. As most of you know I got a new cam recently and the argument was going through my head, "Go out and take the sunrise for an oul few photos like". Eventually I gave in to the voices in my head (very dangerous) and was driving around Cobh at 430 am. I sat in Whitepoint, tripod and all at around 5:20am and watched the sun come up. There will be some photos of this later on in the photoblog. Ger rang me at 6:20 thinking I was either drunk and asleep in someones house, or I was wrapped around a lampost. The "Im out with the camera" didnt go down to well. I got home for around 6:45am and spent the next hour going through the pics (Nerd or what) and getting rid of the shite ones. Went to bed, got up at 12pm Friday, went back to sleep till 3pm and fed my parents later on in the evening.

Saturday morning, I woke up at 6am with some weird jetlag like feeling, and decided to get up, and stay up. We went off the Fota Saturday morning, again bringing the camera, and I got some really good shots, which Ive decided to enter into the Digital Photographer of the year competition. Sunday, we were 6 years together and decided to buy a "proper" BBQ. Most of Sunday was spent sweating and putting the fucker together, and Sunday evening was spent eating some nicely BBQ'd grub with a few bottles of vino and the likes. Was back on the air last night, and to be honest it was quietish. Normal service resumes later on.

Got my photoblog up and running. Posts will be from time to time!
Some may be frightened, some may be shocked and some might even be aroused! Either way I didnt get to Coopers going away do until nearly 12.45 - When myself and Dave Mac arrived the parteeee was in full swing. It must be said that someone in the group had serious bowel problems, because they flatulation was just plain fucked up. In this individuals colon, something, maybe a small rat or wren had died months previous. Every 15-20 minutes the person in question would let one rip. I felt like in was Vietnam, or one of the World Wars where grenades were being thrown into the trenches and fellas were running for their lives. The only problem last night was there no was no one to yell "INCOMING".

I grabbed a few vids and pics, keep in mind that camera phones just do not work well late at night!

At times Im sure people on Oliver Plunkett St. thought some of the Brazilian fans got lost on the way to Germany! Even though its dark, the vid with the person playing the violin is actually Eimear from CTB, not that shes part of the band or anything..maybe she was but either way we were all well impressed. Twas the best bit of fiddling Ive seen a woman do in quite some time.

No idea whats wrong with Dave Mac in this one, not sure where Coopers other hand is

Cooper, Colm and yours truly.

Gemma and Clare - I wont say anything smart(ish) on this one

This looks like its from the FBIs most wanted list

That is all for now!

Time is getting on, and another weekend is over! Gonna be a short on today Im afraid. The Da Vinci Code and X-men 3 were on the agenda over the weekend. Both very enjoyable flicks, although I thought X men was lacking at times. Whatever you do, dont leave the cinema until AFTER the credits roll up the screen for Xmen. Its worth the wait, granted 7 minutes of credits gets you 10 seconds of extra footage. Either way "Make it so"

It was a quite oul weekend, other than that. Being putting in some time to the Xbox 360 with Fifa World Cup and Rockstar Table Tennis. Its about the most exercise Ive got since I dont know how long! Anyway thats it, but before I go we have 20 passes to giveaway to a special screening of United 93 tomorrow night at the Gate. Tune in from 9pm to find out how to blag em!

Finally, a few moments to spare. Its been a busy week, and last night was the icing on the cake. More on that in a mo! Firstly, as some of you may know I was in Dingle for the oul Birthday, and no better place to test out my new Digital Cam! Heres a few shots from there and from aroundthe place!
From my sink - High speed shot

Surfer at Inch

Flipper...or Fungi or something!

The new cam is savage altogether, and Im after finding my photography buzz again..well for a while :) I may even start up one of them photo blogs! Granted, since I got the camera, its done nothing but fuckin rained! Absolutely typical. There was one day it didnt rain, and that was the Saturday in Dingle! I love the place, and it was a nice suprise to be whisked off there, by Ger last weekend! Its one of the few places Ill get up early, for the breakfast. Its all self service in the Skellig and there is quite a spread! Theres probably a small bit of shame involved grabbing an extra sausage and rasher or 3, but who cares. The Aquarium has been revamped, and its really a great attraction down there lately. Anytime we're in Dingle, the Oceanworld (or whatever its called) always gets a visit. Speaking of attractions, we made it out to Fungi for a second time, well my second time, Gers third. After about 10 minutes saling out towards the Penninsula, Fungi was spotted. The woman who owned the boat, or whatever she was, was the look out. She could be heard in Cork, in a real oul Bridy accent roaring "Hes over there now, look look look, hes right long side us". She was getting louder as the tourists hadnt a clue what she was saying. Then, the dolphin decided to feck off and disappear completely. Would that make her turn the boat around, like shit it would. They drove onwards past the breakwaters and out into the Atlantic. At one stage I was waiting to see the Manhattan skyline we were so far out. The swell was fairly bad, and the boat was up and down like something out of the Perfect Storm. We didnt shit ourselves, but we came close. No sign of the little bastard out there, so they turn around (which was another almost shitting ourselves experience) and headed back. The calm waters and my nerves didnt last long, they turned around a back out into the swell! Either way, the found Fungi again, but at this stage, I was silently saying to myself "Turn this thing around". Its quite the experience, hanging over the side of a boat with a camera waiting for a dolphin to show up, and someone shouts look out for the wave! Great birthday, really enjoyed it. Too much food, too much drink and all that goes with it. We were out for dinner with people nearly every night last week.

Now back to something I mentioned earlier. One of the most important items for Cork Talks Back is a phone system. It went wallop last night in the nine hour, and Richie our Engineer was soon on the case, but we didnt get it back till after 11. It was a struggle, but people didnt seem to notice. It still annoyed the crap out of me, because the show is called Cork Talks Back, not me talking back. It was probably the worst moment we've had on the show, but its done and dusted now! Move onwards!

Anyway, thats it for now. Dont forget another chance to be in with a chance of getting an interview for the Rose of Tralee Escort gig and some more cookbooks up for grabs later on tonight!
